great kibble

My dog decided she no longer wanted to eat her old lamb/rice kibble. She loves chicken so I decided to try Hills brand, and she definitely likes the taste of this one. I can even use pieces of her kibble for training exercises again which is nice. She does have some sensitive skin and itchiness (prior to trying this kibble), so I am going to try the Hill sensitive skin with this same chicken/barley flavor. If there isn't a different, I'll be switching back to this one! I also like that it comes in a resealable bag, which makes for easy storage.

My dog LOVES this food, not likes, loves it. He was on the lamb flavor before, and it he would eat it pretty well but usually needed a mix-in. Changed him to this chicken flavor and he's watching me scoop the food out and waiting by the bowls for me to let him dig into it.

I've always liked hills but steered away when I was in a financial bind for a few years. I changed my dog back to it, and she loves it. She eats on a consistent schedule, her coat looks great, her activity levels are great, and her bowls are consistent!

My Dog Loves This Food

I switched to this food about 2 months ago due to my pup not tolerating another top brand of food. He loves it & I like how much more healthier his coat is. In addition, he has so much energy and overall seems much more lively since the switch. He would also make sure I know he wants to eat by being verbal and it's the cutest! I highly recommend. The only negative was the delivery.

Dog only wants this kibble.

After she was picked up off the streets my dog was given this kibble in the shelter for about 2 months. Since I adopted her I've tried to switch her to other fancier foods. She won't have it! She doesn't want anything else, which is nice, because this this food is cost effective. Kibble pieces are 1/2" discs. My dog had sensitive teeth before I got her some dental work and still ate this. The kibble holds up well to being hydrated if your dog needs softer food. Vet recommended: My vet wholeheartedly approved of Hill's Science Diet and cautioned against a "raw" diet. My German Shepherd Dog is a huge fan. We started him on another brand's puppy chow and transitioned him to this brand's adult formula largely because of the ingredient list. Kibble size is roughly that of a dime, and the formulation seems to be working well in keeping him at a healthy weight according to his vet. Excluding the transition period from his puppy chow to this brand's adult formulation he didn't (and doesn't) appear to have any food allergy or stomach upset in response to the food. I plan to continue him on this until transitioning to a senior brand as he gets older. I would recommend the purchase, and packaging is convenient with a resealable zip-lock/Velcro hybrid closure.

Changed from Purina Pro plan which she didn't like. Not a food motivated pup. Eats it more readily than the Purina. Better "end results" too. Lol
