I do hope you get the chicken stew back soon. This is solid and harder for my old dog to eat. Also, I had to get a can opener since these cans do not have the pull tab tops.

None of my pets are 7+ in age but also not puppies. Due to out of stock for quite some time of the Adult 1-6. I had to purchase this but the dogs did not like and made me go to an alternative brand.

After searching for a good while to find a food for our 16 year old Maltese. I gave this food a try. The dog likes it and does not get an upset stomach. Price is good too for a premium food
Too compacted

Dog did not like at all! Too stiff-difficult to even cut in to chunks. Prefers the chicken and vegetable stew-much softer and wetter.
Great for senior dogs with bad teeth

My senior pups especially love this can. I split one can between two 60+ lb dogs with some Origen dry food, fish oil and warm water. It mixes really well and the dogs can't get enough of it. My pit mix has a k9 that bothers her but she'll gobble this down in minutes.
Substitute for prescription

My Chorkie was diagnosed with a liver issue back in 2018 and was prescribed the Hill's Prescription liver diet wet food. After the prescription ran out I decided to try this as it is cheaper. My dog can only consume 5% protein or less and this food contains less than that! She's an older dog and she's been eating this particular type since 2019. I will say it's given her lots of energy even though she is almost 10 years old. She loves it! I also feed the chicken flavored Hill's Adults ages 1-6 to my other dog who also loves it. Also, although my dog has a liver issue and is doing fine while eating this diet, it may not be suitable for others. Obviously consult with a vet!

Only wish it had a flip top opening . I have to use a hand opener, which makes it hard. Bought it for wt control. It will take time to see those results.,the order usually comes the day after i order it! Very fast. Always correct order . I made a mistake on the order and chewy had me ship it back, in their expense.
Disappointed - dented cans

Our dog really likes the food, but the cans were all dented. The tops looked fine, but as soon as you removed the shrink wrap, you see that every can was dented on the side. Unfortunately, we signed up for auto ship, but are now rethinking it if this is how they are delivered.
